Ikari House on Kiritimati (Christmas Island) is a premier fly fishing lodge built by the Teem Family for anglers who want direct access to one of the most productive flats fisheries in the world.
Located on the only channel connecting the lagoon to the Pacific Ocean, Ikari House offers immediate access to vast lagoon flats, fringing reefs, and bluewater. Target bonefish, giant trevally, triggerfish, and more with experienced guides whether you’re wading the flats or fishing from our fleet of fast, custom boats.
Our all-inclusive fishing program features six full days on the water, expert guiding for all skill levels, and a variety of techniques including fly fishing, spin fishing, and offshore opportunities.
When the day is done, return to our beachfront lodge just steps from the water. Enjoy comfortable rooms with AC, fresh meals prepared daily, and a relaxed atmosphere built around great fishing, good company, and the Kiribati way of life.

Lodge-istics…
Logistics are a big part of the Ikari experience. The Republic of Kiribati is remote, making quality equipment and reliable staff essential to your fishing adventure. Our fleet of fast and comfortable fishing boats are the best on Christmas Island. When the power goes out, we use generators and solar. Our trucks start and have air in the tires! We have ice, AC, delicious meals, Starlink, and all the little things (and we have backups).
Above all, the staff and owners of Ikari House are here to host and welcome you to our home. We are a close family of guides, lodge managers, chefs, boatmen and helpful people. It’s an honor to host guests from around the world, and watch them go crazy for the fishing!
